Nicole Seltzer, Executive Director
Nicole has had the pleasure of working with and playing in Colorado water since 2002. She is using skills acquired from positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District to grow the Foundation into Colorado's premiere water education provider. Nicole has a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Kansas and an MS in Water Resources from the University of Vermont. Nicole has a long history of working with non-profit organizations, including stints on the Boards of Directors of the Colorado Watershed Assembly, the Big Thompson Watershed Forum and the Grand County Water Information Network. When she isn't working to teach Coloradoans about their water resources, she can be found skiing, rafting our State's rivers, cycling the back roads of Boulder County, or tending her garden in Longmont.
David Harper, Office Manager
David is a Colorado native with a vested interest in the State’s future. David comes to the Foundation after local experience in banking and entrepreneurialism and international experience in telecommunications marketing and business research. He received his B.A. from the University of Colorado in Political Science and his Master of Business Administration from CU-Denver. When not working for the Foundation, David enjoys traveling and making loud noises with various amplified musical instruments.
Kristin Maharg, Education Program Associate
Kristin works within the Foundation's educational programs, informing Colorado citizens on sustainable water use. Kristin realizes the power of a healthy water supply to improve a community's well-being. She has worked in various capacities to design and deliver watershed education programs, such as a community-driven wetland restoration project in New Orleans. Kristin received a BS in Wildlife Ecology and Spanish and an MS in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In her leisure time, she seeks outdoor adventure, traveling, music, and home-cooked meals with friends. Kristin also plays a mean cowbell when its time to get people back on the bus.
