Water 101 Fact Sheets
The Water 101 fact sheets are a series of one-page references available for download, printing and distribution. Hand out when giving presentations, teaching classes or for personal reference. Explore the basics of drought, and wildfire-- other Water 101 topics are soon to come. Learn how state entities manage drought and fire, ways in which folks across the state are conserving water or responding to drought, the forces of regrowth and destruction inherent in wildfire, and how you can get involved in fire mitigation work. On Friday May 3 The Colorado Foundation for Water Education held our 2013 President's Award Reception. Keynote speaker John Salazar, Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture, helped us
honor Jim Isgar, the recipient of CFWE's 2013 President's Award. The award pays tribute to those who demonstrate steadfast commitment to water resources education. We also bestowed our Emerging Leader Award upon Amy Beatie. Congratulations Jim and Amy!
